A hosting gift like no other. No longer should you feel embarrassed to be so bold. Just lay these little unapologetic doily coasters out there to let your guests know how you really feel about your furniture! I just might need to pick a couple of these up for myself.
Paris-based photographer Thomas Czarnecki has put a dark and morbid twist on the fairytale happy endings we have become so accustomed to. In his photographic collection From Enchantment To Down, he depicts our favorite fairytale heroines in alternative ending scenes. Although I believe that the poses in which these leading ladies lie could differ from one another fiercely to add even more depth to the series, this visual compilation is enchanting in its own chilling way.
Tokyo-based ad agency GREY produced this cute advertisement for Ninseikan Children’s Karate School in Japan. Street artist Michael Aaron Williams, purposely puts up street children and homeless people in public view so that others will find them. He doesn’t glue them to the wall but tapes them so that anyone passing by can pick them up and take them home with them. So what will happen if no one does? “They will cease to exist,” Williams says. “They will be destroyed and blown away in the wind or other forces that will rip them down […]

Dave Hakkens wants you to stop using those new pump action soap dispensers with their chemicals and excessive packaging materials. He created Break Soap to get people back into using the classic bar of soap in a whole new way. It’s pretty simple really. Just break off a small piece and wash your hands. Really dirty hands? Break off a larger piece. It’s designed to last longer and when all the soap has been used there’s no left over packaging […]
I know some pretty hardcore Mac lovers, so this post is just for them. This is the MacHook by Workerman. It’s the perfect accessory to any Mac workstation that helps you organize your stuff. MacHook adheres to the top of your iMac with nano-suction technology. Not your ordinary adhesive, in fact it’s not an adhesive at all. Microscopic craters on the strip create a strong bond with any smooth surface, but remain easily removable and re-positionable and won’t leave a […]

I must admit that at first glance I assumed these beautiful designs had to have been made digitally. I was surprised to find however, that they are tediously and delicately drawn with good old fashioned pens and markers. Minjae Lee is a young illustrator from Seoul, South Korea. His bold and colorful collage-like drawings are extraordinarily detailed, drawing the viewer in to the halting imagery and ingenious juxtaposition of beauty. Each piece seems to have the perfect clash of fragility […]
If you thought that these fun figures were made out of metal, look again! Each piece is tediously hand sculpted from polymer clay and finished with mica powders for an awesome metallic effect. Monster Kookies is run by the very talented Kimberly Hart, the “mad scientist of polymer clay.” She has an entire deviant art gallery filled with mechanical birds and squids, anatomically correct hearts and tentacles galore! If you’re interested in owning one (or ten!) of Hart’s industrial goodies, […]
These fully functional interior products by Nick Fraser, bring playfulness and fun into any home decor. His works include coat racks, umbrella stands, bathroom stands, and candelabras, all of which are made from powder coated pipes and taps. I can only imagine that these pieces would look especially nice in a home or apartment with exposed brick.
